No ads on a redirect
A visitor goes straight to your destination: no interstitial, no ad frame and no pixel between click and page.
No overage bill
Past the click allowance, every link keeps working and keeps counting, with no per-click charge. On Free, tracking pauses above 10× the allowance until the month resets.
Cookies only for features you turn on
Clicks are counted at the redirect, before any page loads. A password-protected link sets one signed cookie after the visitor unlocks it; audience analytics (a one-year visitor cookie) is off until you switch it on.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. 30 links a month, click analytics and QR codes, with no time limit and no card required to sign up. It is the plan you stay on until you outgrow it, not a trial with a countdown attached.

What happens to my links if I downgrade or cancel?

Your existing short links keep redirecting after a downgrade or a cancellation. Limits apply to creating new links, and plan features such as smart routing stop applying below the plan that includes them.

Can I use my own domain?

Custom domains are included on every plan, including Free (on Free, once your account is 7 days old). Add a CNAME record and ShortZen requests the SSL certificate for you. How long verification takes depends on your DNS provider.

Does ShortZen inject ads or tracking pixels?

No. Redirects go straight to your destination with no interstitial page, ad frame or third-party pixel. The free plan is paid for by the paid plans, not by your visitors’ attention.

Can I move my existing links in?

Upload the export. Column headers from the major shorteners are recognised and slugs come across unchanged, with a one-time allowance of 2,000 links from Starter that does not use up your monthly links.

Can I manage links from an AI assistant?

Yes. Assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude Code, Cursor and Visual Studio Code, connect to your workspace and act with your role and your plan. Every tool works on every plan, including Free, within your plan’s limits.
